Volvo P1800E Coupe – Fuel Injection – Stålblå – Restored

Did you know the Volvo P1800 originally started as a surprisingly ambitious project for a brand best known for safety and durability? Volvo was traditionally associated with solid sedans and practical wagons. The P1800, however, is something entirely different: low, elegant, and styled with clear international influence. A true departure from the expected, and today one of the most recognizable classic Volvo models.

The story begins in the late 1950s, when Volvo decided there was room for something more expressive alongside its existing lineup. Helmer Petterson, a name closely associated with Volvo’s earlier successes, played a key role in the development. The first prototypes were designed in Italy by Carrozzeria Frua, which explains the car’s distinctive and timeless proportions.

Initial production took place at Jensen in the United Kingdom before manufacturing moved to Sweden, where the model was further refined into the version you see here. By the end of the 1960s, the Volvo P1800 received a significant technical update. Engine capacity increased to 2.0 liters, and fuel injection was introduced. From that moment on, the model was known as the Volvo P1800E.

This example is exactly that: a Volvo P1800E equipped with the 2.0-liter fuel-injected four-cylinder engine, producing approximately 120 horsepower. For its time, this provided more than adequate performance and still allows for relaxed and enjoyable driving today. Combined with the overdrive, the car is particularly well suited for longer journeys, keeping engine speeds low and comfort high.

What immediately stands out about this particular Volvo P1800E is the way it has been restored. Not over-restored, but carried out with clear respect for originality. Weld points remain visible where they should be, reflecting an honest and carefully executed restoration focused on preserving authentic details.

The color combination further enhances its appeal. Finished in Stålblå, a period-correct and highly attractive shade, paired with a black leather interior, this P1800E presents exactly as it would have when originally delivered. A timeless specification that suits the car perfectly.

In addition, this example has been subtly upgraded with electric power steering. Discreetly integrated, it improves usability—especially at lower speeds—without compromising the original driving character.
What you are looking at is a Volvo P1800E exactly as it should be: correct in its specification, restored with attention to detail, and maintaining the integrity of a true classic. A highly usable classic car, but also an increasingly sought-after collector’s item.

Are you interested in this Volvo P1800E for sale? Contact Gallery Aaldering today. Established in 1975, we specialize in exceptional automobiles and offer worldwide export services. We are happy to assist you throughout the entire purchasing process.

Alfa Romeo RZ Zagato: A Rare Bolt of Lightning in Giallo Ginestra

There are cars you see, and cars you feel. One glance at this RZ is enough to understand why this model has held cult status since its debut in the early 1990s. The raw geometry, the proportions, the iconic triple-headlamp face—nothing about this roadster is subtle. Nor should it be. This is Italian rebellion in its purest form, shaped by a design philosophy that still stands entirely on its own.

Finished in the exceptionally rare and striking Giallo Ginestra over Pelle Nera, this RZ has exactly the presence that made the model legendary. A color combination that doesn’t just complement the bodywork—it seems to make it pulse in the light. And that is fitting, because the RZ was created from pure emotion: a roadster that places the driver directly in line with the brand’s beating heart, without filters, without compromise. In short, a true Alfa Romeo.

What makes this RZ special isn’t only its rarity, but the story it carries with it. This particular example gained national recognition through the television program Now or Never before being cherished by a select circle of dedicated Alfisti and collectors—the kind of owners who know exactly what a car like this requires: attention, respect, and precision. And it shows in every detail. This RZ remains in original factory condition—fresh, clean, and remarkably well-preserved.

Under the hood lies the characterful 3.0-liter V6, producing the unmistakable voice that only an Italian six-cylinder can deliver. Pair that with a chassis engineered with racing experience as its backbone, and you feel that unique immediacy—the direct, undiluted connection between driver, bodywork, and asphalt. The kind of unfiltered engagement modern cars simply no longer offer.

And that experience shines brightest with the top down, the wind on your face, and the distinctive growl of the Busso V6 in your ears. The RZ isn’t a roadster that waits for sunshine; it’s a roadster that turns every moment, every mile, every setting into an event. Even a short drive through the city takes on a sense of ceremony: heads turn, fingers point, phones drop back into pockets. Not out of shallow surprise, but genuine fascination. The RZ is not a car you encounter every day—but once you do, you never forget it.

As for documentation—exactly as enthusiasts want it: complete and meticulously organized. Press kit, manuals, Certificato di Origine—the full set is present. An RZ that is right in every way, from history to condition.
You don’t buy a car like this because you’re searching for one. You buy it because you feel it belongs with you. And this RZ? It’s waiting for its next enthusiast. If you’re interested, contact Gallery Aaldering today and experience this Alfa for yourself. We export worldwide—ask us about the options.

A Rolls-Royce with Just 23,000 Miles

The Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III hardly needs an introduction. For many, this model stands as the very symbol of understated grandeur. Yet where today can one still find an example that is not only so well-preserved, but has also covered a mere 23,000 miles? That makes this 1965 Silver Cloud III truly special—a rarity seldom seen on the market.

Equipped with Radford Cocktail Cabinets

This example is finished in the timeless combination of Mason’s Black over black Connolly leather. The result is an appearance that is at once restrained and imposing. The bodywork is straight, correct, and honest, with the black paint retaining a deep shine and the chrome details remaining in fine condition.

Inside, the condition is equally impressive. Original details, correct instrumentation, and carefully preserved finishes make this a rolling salon. The Connolly leather upholstery presents beautifully, while the carpets and wood trim imbue the cabin with warmth and understated luxury. A particularly notable feature is the set of bespoke Radford cocktail cabinets—an exclusive and rare option that underscores the connection to Harold Radford, a name of distinction within Silver Cloud circles.

Whisper-Quiet Power and Supreme Comfort

The 6.2-liter V8 engine—introduced by Rolls-Royce in the early 1960s as the successor to the famed inline-six—runs with silken smoothness and delivers performance perfectly in keeping with the majestic character of this limousine. At the time, the move to V8 power was a bold step forward: the Silver Cloud II and later the Cloud III gained significantly in strength and refinement, all without losing their traditional charm. The Silver Cloud III, with its twin headlamp units and subtle updates to the radiator grille, was immediately recognizable as the more modern member of the family.

With only 23,000 miles of experience, the driving experience remains exactly what one expects from a Rolls-Royce of this era: whisper-quiet, effortless, and supremely comfortable. The car moves with ease and grace, giving the driver the distinct impression that time itself has paused.

The Silver Cloud III was the final model built on a traditional chassis before Rolls-Royce moved to more modern construction techniques. As such, it represents a significant milestone in the marque’s history. This particular example is further enhanced by being left-hand drive—a highly desirable configuration that blends exclusive British heritage with practical usability, making it especially appealing to both European and American enthusiasts and collectors.

A Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III in this condition, with such low mileage and rare Radford options, belongs to the select group of automobiles that are not only investments but also experiences. A rolling work of art that captures the essence of Rolls-Royce: silence, refinement, and timeless design.

There are cars that most enthusiasts recognize instantly. And then there is this Railton. A 1936 Railton Fairmile II Drophead Coupé. The name Railton may not be widely familiar today, but in the 1930s it was a serious contender alongside marques such as Alvis, Lagonda, and Bentley. The concept was brilliantly straightforward: take a Hudson Terraplane chassis from the United States, adapt the suspension for British roads, and commission the body from skilled local coachbuilders. The result was a fast tourer for its era, combining strong performance with the comfort and charm of a large English limousine.

This Fairmile II delivers all of that—and more. It has been fully restored, yet without sacrificing its authenticity. The restoration and mechanical refurbishment were carried out with care and attention to detail, and the car now presents in very fine, well-kept condition. The proportions are elegant, the finish is of high quality, and the level of luxury is deliberately understated—perfectly in keeping with the character this Railton conveys. Power comes from a 4.2-liter straight-eight side-valve engine that runs beautifully and remains a genuine pleasure to drive. Torque is available from low revs, and the engine is impressively smooth.

In the 1930s, a Railton was not purchased to parade along the boulevards of Nice, but to cross the countryside in comfort and style. The chassis is light, the wheelbase well balanced, and in the right hands this Fairmile can still keep pace with modern traffic. Not fast by contemporary standards, but endowed with an effortless fluidity that only well-engineered machines possess—think along the lines of a classic Lancia.

The current owner has participated in rallies all over the world with this car, always with elegance and distinction. It has been lovingly maintained, and the extensive documentation bears this out. The history file includes photographs from events the previous owner took part in, underlining that this is a Railton that has truly seen the world. We invite you to view the photos on our website to get a proper impression.

Then there is the coachwork itself. A timeless silhouette, never forced, projecting dignity without ostentation. The finish is refined and restrained, minimalist in the best sense of the word. Everything about this car reflects an era when elegance was simply assumed.

You buy a Railton because you understand what it represents: one of the few remaining British thoroughbreds with a character entirely its own, built in small numbers, cherished by connoisseurs, and rarely seen on the road. Or, put more plainly—this is a forgotten great.

Interested? Contact Gallery Aaldering today. We export our vehicles worldwide—please inquire about the possibilities.

Morgan: A Timeless Automobile

The Morgan 4/4 is one of those automotive icons that has endured the test of time in its own inimitable way. While most manufacturers radically reinvented their models to reflect changing eras, Morgan chose continuity and tradition instead. The result? A car that, to this day, retains the same charm and allure as its 1936 forebear. This 1973 Morgan 4/4 1600 is a prime example—an elegant machine offering pure, unfiltered driving pleasure.

Fully Restored by a Morgan Specialist

This particular example underwent a full body-off restoration in England during the 1990s, carried out by a recognized Morgan specialist and dealer. The quality of that work is still evident today: an exceptionally well-presented car, meticulously rebuilt to factory-correct standards, with gleaming paintwork, a superb interior, and an overall presence that immediately inspires confidence. Thanks to that restoration and mechanical refurbishment, this Morgan remains in fine condition and drives exactly as one would expect from a classic of this caliber.

The provenance of this example is equally compelling. This Morgan remained in the care of a single owner for nearly thirty years, cherished and preserved with dedication. That long-term ownership speaks volumes about the car’s quality, reliability, and the sheer enjoyment it delivers. This is not a car that passed through many hands, but a treasured possession that was enjoyed for decades.

A Proven Powertrain

Beneath the long, elegant bonnet lies the tried-and-true 1600 cc Ford Kent engine—a powerplant celebrated for its reliability and smooth delivery. Introduced in the Morgan 4/4 in 1967 and standard from 1970 onward, it perfectly complements the car’s light weight and Morgan’s trademark engineering, including the renowned sliding pillar front suspension. The result is a driving experience that is light, direct, and surprisingly lively—a car that doesn’t demand, but rather invites, turning every journey into a seamless dialogue between driver and machine.

Adding to its appeal, this Morgan comes in the rare and desirable four-seat configuration. Finished in an exquisite two-tone combination of Dark Marine Blue paired with a touch of French Blue, it exudes understated style and elegance. The interplay of colors underscores the timeless sophistication that has defined Morgan for generations.

The Morgan 4/4 1600 is, therefore, not merely a classic to admire, but one to experience. It combines English tradition with a dash of sporting flair, offering a driving sensation you won’t find in any modern car. Elegant, lightweight, and authentic—this is a stylish machine awaiting a new enthusiast who understands that true class never fades.

Some cars make you look back one more time after you step out before walking away. This Maserati 4200 GT in this specification clearly belongs in that category.

The color alone already makes this car different. Giallo Granturismo. Bright yellow in a way only Italians can truly pull off convincingly. Combined with the full black leather interior, this Maserati has exactly the presence you want from a car of this era: elegant, slightly rebellious, and absolutely never boring.

In the early 2000s, Maserati found itself in an interesting phase. The brand had firmly re-established itself, and the 4200 GT played an important role in that success. The design came from Giorgetto Giugiaro, and that is immediately obvious. The long nose, the compact cabin, and the beautiful lines ensure the car still looks modern today.

The 4200 GT was a clear evolution of the earlier 3200 GT. Technically more advanced, with Ferrari-derived engineering beneath the hood, yet still unmistakably Maserati in character. Not clinical perfection, but emotion. You feel it in the steering, in the driving position, and in the way the car responds.

But honestly, a 4200 GT is mostly about what lies under the hood. Because there you will find the naturally aspirated 4.2-liter Ferrari-Maserati V8. An engine that loves to rev, reacts instantly when asked, and produces exactly the kind of soundtrack that makes you deliberately search for an extra tunnel. You know that feeling?

And preferably paired with a manual gearbox. Fortunately, this example is exactly that, and it suits this thoroughbred Italian perfectly. It makes the driving experience more engaging, more mechanical, and ultimately simply more enjoyable. That is precisely why manual examples are becoming increasingly sought after.

This particular example is also equipped with the Auditorium 200 audio system, an option that was notably expensive when new. Not that you will always need it, because very often the engine itself provides more than enough entertainment.

What makes this Maserati even more appealing is that it has been well maintained and comes complete with manuals and invoices. That adds a reassuring sense of confidence, especially with an Italian GT of this caliber.

Inside, everything feels exactly as you hope it would. The leather, the instruments, the clock in the center of the dashboard—it all has atmosphere. In fact, it already feels slightly vintage, and we mean that entirely as a compliment. No minimalist modern interior where everything disappears behind a screen, but a cockpit where you still experience buttons, gauges, and genuine mechanics.

The 4200 GT now belongs to a generation of Maseratis that is gradually being rediscovered by enthusiasts who understand just how special these cars have become. Naturally aspirated Ferrari V8, manual transmission, rear-wheel drive, and a design that still feels completely right today.

Those are ingredients becoming increasingly rare in the modern automotive world. Contact Gallery Aaldering today. Since 1975, we have been a family-owned company with a passion for the finest and most exceptional automobiles in the world. We export our vehicles worldwide—please inquire about the possibilities.

The Lancia Flaminia 2.5 Coupé 3C Touring (Tipo: 824.10) is still a breathtakingly beautiful car. As the successor to the Lancia Aurelia it was available as a sedan, coupé and convertible. In our case the bodywork was done by Carrozzeria Touring according to the Superleggera template. The has a 2.5 litre V6 engine coupled to a manual 4-speed gearbox. Naturally it is rear wheel driven. Only 1,718 Lancia Flaminia 2.5 Coupé 3C Touring’s were built. Our Lancia hit the Italian open road in 1964 for the first time. The has been restored in the past and very well maintained ever since. The bodywork is in good shape with nice and thin, correctly aligned panelwork. Of course the chassis is also very sound and rust-free. The paintwork is neat with only a few minor blemishes. The interior trim has recently been replaced with lovely brown leather and new carpets. The upholstery is therefore in excellent condition. The instruments and switches are in fine condition and all in good working order. The car exhibits good roadholding qualities. The engine is supple and thanks to the triple Weber’s sounds absolutely spectacular. The 2.5 litre engine develops 140 PS, easily merging with today’s traffic. The manual transmission is good and precise. In short a really lovely Lancia Flaminia 2.5 Coupé 3C Touring in great condition and more than ready for more driving pleasure. It is actually difficult not to fall in love with a Jaguar XJ coupe. With its smooth engine, as only a Jaguar has, an unparalleled road handling for its time, and combined with a stylish body, it is a car that just feels right. Jaguars are known for their strong temperament and are cars full of character. The delightful six-cylinder engine is a well-known power source that was basically first introduced in mid-1949. The lines of the body are beautiful and understated. A funny detail: You will never mistake which side to refuel, as the Jaguar has two fuel tanks on both sides of the vehicle!

The interior is also understated and tastefully designed with a fairly simplistic yet functional layout and, of course, surrounded by leather. It was often said that the new owner should carefully read the manual first to fully understand the function and location of all the controls! All of this, of course, does not matter, because you buy a Jaguar with your heart and that is, in our opinion, precisely the essence of a classic car. This Jaguar may not be a purebred sports car, but the engine is so smooth and quiet that you do not realize how fast you are going.

We offer a really nice 1976 Jaguar XJ6 4.2 Coupe. This Jaguar comes from a true enthusiast who cherished the car and has been a long-time member of the Jaguar Club Netherlands. We find the color scheme very tasteful with the body color, Regency Red, combined with the black leather interior. In the past, this example received the necessary love and attention and was restored and overhauled. The body looks neat with good fits of the body parts. The paintwork and chrome parts, including the bumpers, have minimal signs of use, making this Jaguar a great example of a car with a driver’s quality. This car has the authentic appearance we love so much, where originality forms a perfect mix with the overall neat condition of the car. The underside of the car also looks very neat, as shown in the attached photos on our website.

In the interior, we find beautiful leather upholstery that has been reupholstered and looks really nice. The headlining is in good condition, and the carpets look good, and the dashboard is tidy, including the steering wheel and instrumentation. This Jaguar comes with the original manual in very good condition.

Driving this example is superb. The six-cylinder engine starts quickly and runs properly. Once on the road, the car feels solid, and you notice that Jaguar did their best to make their cars as smooth as possible. Steering is direct, the automatic transmission shifts smoothly, and you will quickly feel at home behind the wheel of this Jaguar because driving the car is what this Jaguar is made for.

A very beautiful car, this Jaguar, in which you get in and drive away, ready for many enjoyable rides in style. Are you interested? Contact us today, we are happy to help you further. You are most welcome at Gallery Aaldering, active since 1975. We have many years of experience in exporting our vehicles worldwide, ask about the possibilities.
